Rejected letter images
These images did not communicate the message the way we wanted because they seemed too deliberate. I literally drew the R in dish soap and poured water on the table in order to form the letters instead of finding them organically. This really changed my perception of the project and made me realize the importance of trying to find the shapes as they appear because that would draw more inspiration in creating something new.
Results
Our final letter project was a mix of my and Sarah's letters. The black and white adds to the typeface feel. I'm particularly pleased with the E in the ice cube tray and the orchid as a letter R. I would be interested creating typefaces inspired by either one of these or all of our letters.
